about

My path as a solo improvisational soundscape artist started in 1998 when a few friends and strangers got a plane white 2 song CD with a xeroxed photo of a dead tree (a tree at the highest point in the Smoky Mountains at Clingmon's Dome). Three years later in 2001, two more soundscapes were added and a a deluxe color CD version was released. A lizard carcass is featured on the rear cover and dates are given for each of the 4 recordings included. Enjoy the festival... pestilence and decay have befallen mother earth and mankind. Human society is plagued by ignorance and neglect. These vignettes into that type of thinking can only mean catharsis and purging of demons so to speak. However I don't take credit for what is here; a mere conduit for a vision beyond time and unto parallel space of a planet being destroyed by the pride of an exploited and wasted cycle of tyranny.
